IOS 14: How to use photos in iPhone camera mode
Using Picture in Picture For Apps
Picture in Picture works with apps that play video content, but when it comes to third-party apps, app developers have to implement support for the feature.
Tapping the same icon in the upper right corner of the Picture in Picture window or double tapping with two fingers can be achieved by exiting Picture in Picture Mode and returning to full screen mode with the reopened app. You can close the image in the image window and exit the app by clicking the X in the left corner.
For apps that play TV and movie content, Picture in Picture mode controls include play / pause and an option to tap to skip 15 seconds forward and 15 seconds back.
Apple 's Picture in Picture apps include something with a video feed, such as Apple TV+ or video clips from the Home app's HomeKit-enabled cameras.
YouTube Picture in Picture
Unfortunately, YouTube has not yet introduced Picture in Picture support, so the function does not work with the YouTube app. There are some doubts that this feature will ever be enabled by YouTube, but on the iPad, YouTube has been testing it. Fortunately, for now, there is a workaround that uses YouTube on the site.

Using Picture in Picture on the Web
With the Safari app, Picture in Picture works with almost every video and no support needs to be added by website developers. Tap to play the video on a video site, then tap the Image in Picture icon or double-tap the video on a two-finger button. You can also swipe upward from the bottom of the iPhone to allow Picture in Image.
There are some forms of video that don't work, such as the videos embedded in web pages by some websites, so some websites will need to be tweaked before these types of videos can be used in Picture mode. However, it is compatible with videos from sites such as YouTube and Vimeo, so websites that use these embeds will have Picture in Picture compatible content.
Notice that to use Image in Image mode with Safari, you need to open a new Safari tab if you want to continue browsing another website while a video is playing.
Using Picture in Picture with FaceTime
In iOS 14, Picture in Picture functions with FaceTime, and that could be the most helpful way to take advantage of it. In iOS 13, you have to swipe out of the FaceTime window if you need to do something on your computer, which delays your video for the individual you're talking to.
In iOS 14, it immediately minimizes into an Image in Picture window if you swipe out of a FaceTime call, which continues to be available even when you enter other apps so that you and the other person you are talking to can continue your conversation without the iPhone being otherwise unusable.
To change its size from big to medium or small and then back again, you can double-tap on the FaceTime window, and if you just click the Picture in Picture window, it expands back to the maximum size of the display of the iPhone. You can also transfer the image in the image window to the optimal position on the screen.
Picture in Picture Window Size and Position Customization
By using pinch movements, you can double-tap any image in the image window or change the size of an image in the image window. There are three sizes you can choose from: small, medium , and large.
The tiny window is about two app icons in size, the medium is about three app icons in size, and as big as one and a half, while the biggest window is eight app icons in size.
With the exception of FaceTime, which is shown in portrait mode, all windows are shown in a landscape orientation on the Home Screen of the iPhone.
You can use image in image windows for almost any app or while on the home screen. The small and medium windows can be moved to any corner of the display of the iPhone, while the wide window can be positioned at the top or bottom of the screen.
Moving Image Off Screen in Image Window
With drag and drop motions, you can pull an Image in Image window of any size over to the side of the iPhone, pushing it off the screen.
You will continue to hear the audio from the video or FaceTime call with the Picture in Image window off the screen, but it will not be visible on the display of the iPhone.
