When Is iOS 13 Public Release Coming? [Update: It's Out!]
IOS 13 and iPadOS, unveiled in June at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference, are Apple's next-generation iPhone and iPad operating systems and offer one of the largest overhauls of Apple's mobile operating system in recent years.
Apple introduced various new features and upgrades coming with iOS 13 during its WWDC keynote, including a system-wide Dark Mode, new picture and camera functionality, improved privacy settings, including a secure app login option called Sign In with Apple, a revamped Reminders app, new Apple Maps features such as street-level view, and much more.
IPadOS, a software update specifically designed for iPads with larger displays, was also unveiled by the company. IPadOS will have many features that understand the role of the tablet as a possible substitute for the device, including a new home screen, an improved Split View to boost multitasking, enhanced support for Apple Pencil, and additional keyboard shortcuts for physical keyboards.

Apple distributed beta versions of the new app to developers shortly after the keynote, and the company started offering publicly accessible beta versions in late June after some early bugs were patched. Apple originally revealed that it would publicly release iOS 13 to the public "in the fall" after the standard beta testing phase as a free software update.
iOS 13 Release Date
Apple revealed that it will release iOS and iPadOS 13 in phases at its September 10 event, where it unveiled the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. The first update came with iOS 13 for iPhone and iPod touch on Thursday, September 19.
On September 24, when Apple released iOS 13.1 with some features kept back from the initial version, the second wave of releases occurred. On the same day the iPadOS was made available.
For a range of devices, including all iPhone 6s and later models and the iPod touch 7th generation, iOS 13 is available. IPadOS, as well as all iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation and later, and iPad mini 4 and later, are compatible with iPad Air 2 models and later.
