Although today we didn't get the 2020 Apple TV, the over-ear headphones from the brand, the AirPods Max, are here. They were reportedly delayed earlier, but they are here in the flesh, with a unique design, along with a range of characteristics. The ludicrously high price tag, however, is something that might scare a lot of clients, but keep reading on. Maybe they're selling something you'll appreciate.

Max Specifications, Features, and More for AirPods

The AirPods Max was carefully made, straight down to the headband, according to Apple. The headband of stainless steel flaunts a lot of strength and is made with the intention of spreading weight and reducing on-head strain. An equal amount of pressure is distributed by the earcups attached to the headband thus forming an efficient seal to provide that immersive audio experience. There's also the Apple Watch-inspired Digital Crown, which provides accurate volume control coupled with the ability to play or pause music, skip songs, answer or end phone calls, and trigger Siri.


For your iPhone and iPad, the custom H1 chip pairs seamlessly. There is automatic switching between their iPhone, iPad, and Mac that enables users to turn and transfer sound. Battery life would also be a huge selling point for the AirPods Max because Apple claims that with Active Noise Cancellation and spatial audio allowed users can get up to 20 hours of endurance. A soft, slim Smart Case that places AirPods Max in an ultra-low power state also comes with these over-ear headphones. When the headphones are not in use, this helps to save battery life.


There is also Audio Sharing that makes it possible to easily share an audio stream on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV 4K between two sets of AirPods. All you have to do is take these AirPods Max close to the computer and attach with a single tap. AirPods Max is of course, Siri-compatible, allowing you to play music, make phone calls, volume control, get directions, and more.



Siri can also read incoming messages as they arrive with Announce Messages with Siri.


Pricing and Availability

The pricing will put off many clients, as it costs $549 for the AirPods Max and is available today. Even, bear in mind that the AirPods Max is compatible with Apple devices running iOS 14.3 or later, iPadOS 14.3 or later, macOS Big Sur 11.1 or later, watchOS 7.2 or later, or tvOS 14.3 or later. Shipping starts on Tuesday, 15 December.
