Fresh WhatsApp feature prevents people from annoying you
WhatsApp is one of the most common messaging apps, and we can not ignore that fact, and there are a lot of features that make it much easier and simpler for the user experience. One of the features used all the time is the feature that you can use when mutating a chat to silence chats for a particular time. WhatsApp will usually give you the option to mute a conversation anywhere from 8 hours to a week. Which seems sufficiently large.
For some individuals, however, even that is not enough because they are still on the hunt to silence some individuals for longer; this especially applies to those irritating WhatsApp groups who will not stop sharing irrelevant and unnecessary material. Well, WhatsApp has now launched a feature that allows you to forever mute a conversation, and yes, it's as simple as that, but a very welcome feature.
WhatsApp Now allows you to forever silence chats, saving a lot of time mutating people over and over again
The functionality was previously available in the beta version of the app, but it is now rolling out across the globe on both iOS and Android. The method of muting a discussion remains the same as it was before. All you need to do is open WhatsApp, long-press the chat you want to mute, click the mute button, and tap Always. IN addition to permanently muting individual chats, group chats will do the same. If you are using the WhatsApp Web Client, you can access the feature by right-clicking the chat button and choosing "Mute Notification".
You should be able to get access to it right away, considering how the functionality is rolling out to everyone right now. However just update your WhatsApp if you don't see the feature available on your phone and you should be good to go.
WhatsApp certainly does justice to users by rolling out a decent range of functions. We have recently learned about how audio and video calling can also find its way to the web client, and now we are getting this functionality that will certainly enhance a notch of the overall user experience.
