Galaxy S21 Series to ship without power adapter, Latest Paperwork Filing According to
Except for these handsets sold in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Samsung looks to follow the same trend, it has only been a few months since Apple started bundling a power adapter with the iPhone 12 series. The Korean giant will not bundle the charging accessory with the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, or the Galaxy S21 Ultra, according to a new documentation file.
In a new documentation, Brazil's ANATEL states that no charger is included in the Galaxy S21 family
For those who don't know, ANATEL is Brazil's telecommunications agency. Although there is little or no data about the requirements or features of the Galaxy S21, Tecnoblog has stumbled upon something noteworthy. No model of the Galaxy S21 arriving in 2021 will ship with a charger, according to the papers. This means that consumers would have to buy one from Samsung separately or purchase one from a third-party vendor.
Before, and in return the company plans to offer more to its loyal customer base, Samsung has been rumoured to drop the charger from its coming flagship list. Samsung would officially bundle a package of premium wireless earbuds instead of offering consumers a charger. Initially, these were known as the Galaxy Buds Beyond, but it looks like they will be renamed the Galaxy Buds Pro by Samsung. It is not verified if only customers who pre-order any Galaxy S21 model will be provided with these freebies, so we will update you on that front.
However, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, one place where Samsung could be forced to supply a Galaxy S21 series charger. Apple has been mandated to sell a charger for all iPhone 12 models since Procon-SP, Sau Paulo's consumer protection agency, which may compel Samsung to do the same. Then again, our take on the matter is that having the charger removed from the packaging of the smartphone is not a big deal because you will just end up using the one in your possession.
Are you disappointed that Samsung is not providing its Galaxy S21 with power bricks? It may not be a deal-breaker for many, but let us know what you think in the comments.
