Google One 2TB Plans Will Now have Bundled VPN Support

There is no doubt that the product strategy for Google One is perfect for those who use it, but one thing that Google still adheres to is ensuring that users are provided with as much protection as possible. Particularly for those who are constantly on the move and working in various locations, connecting to public networks. Your data is the focus here, and you will have an additional peace of mind based on the latest news from Google.

Starting today, Google is announcing a new VPN by Google One on their 2 TB and higher plans which is going to provide an extra layer of online protection for their Android devices.

The new VPN on Google One Product Plans would boost the overall user experience.

Google is already expert in building advanced encryption into its product portfolio, and the VPN would just broaden the security and encrypt the online traffic of your devices. The VPN that is built into the app doesn't matter which app or browser you are using, so it is just a tap away, and you can be sure that your data and privacy will be as protected as possible.

In addition, Google is now rolling out Google One Pro Sessions with VPN support, allowing you to have one-on-one online sessions with a Google expert to learn more about VPNs and how to remain secure online. In addition to the 2 TB of storage, you can get access to VPN along with Pro sessions, along with the range of benefits that already come with the 2 TB package, such as 10 percent back in store credit on all purchases of Google Store products. In addition, if you share your plan with someone else, the VPN can also be enabled on their computer, at no extra cost. Google also makes sure that there are more ways for them to keep things secure.

Google Store rewards can grant you store credit on Google Store hardware purchases, but they are only available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom at the time of writing. You should also note that there are restricted appointments available for Pro Sessions and they are also on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The VPN will only start rolling out in the United States in the coming weeks via Google One on Android, but in the coming months it will extend to iOS, Windows and Mac. In the coming weeks, Pro Sessions will be open to all 2 TB participants in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
