It is quite clear how the function works - it simply detects the person in the viewfinder and calculates their height from toes to head.

Here's how it should be handled.
Phase 1: On your iPhone 12 Pro or its larger version, the first thing you have to do is open the Measure app.
Phase 2: In the middle of the viewfinder, place the person whose height you want to calculate so that the head and toes are all within.
Step 3: Wait for a while and with the height calculation, a line will appear over the head of the person.
(The measurement is displayed in feet or inches, but can often be adjusted from Settings > Measurement > Measurement Units.)
Phase 4: To take a snapshot of the measurement, tap on the Shutter button.
