Huawei Mate40 and Mate40 Pro Leak in Full Glory

Huawei Mate40 and Mate40 Pro Leak in Full Glory

Huawei seems to be having a rough time; there has been news that Huawei could sell its Honor brand and concentrate only on higher-end devices, and in addition, the penalties placed on the business are still in place meaning that Huawei is cornered, and the smartphone business of the company is struggling. Huawei also announced that they will shift their phones to the Harmony OS that Huawei itself has created. You would assume that Huawei would slow down and reevaluate their situation with all of this, but that is not the case because we have our hands on the fresh renders showing full glory in the Huawei Mate40 series.

The Huawei Mate40 Series Renders show that despite the uncertain future, Huawei is not looking to catch a break.

The leak comes from Evan Blass, who shared with us the models, and it shouldn't come as a surprise, but the final design is going to be this. Now you can claim that Huawei does not want to stop by looking at the renders, and with what we have on our side, the company seems absolutely confident in the coming Mate40 series. The Mate40 as well as the Mate40 Pro were both leaked. So let's look at them now.

Obviously, the first one is the Mate40 and while from the front it looks a lot like its predecessor, it is the back that caught my eye. Of course, being Huawei's top-notch series, the Mate series has always concentrated on great overall specs and it seems that with these devices you can get that. Of course, along with four cameras and practically zero camera hump, you have the Huawei and Leica brands on the back.

On the other hand, the Mate40 practically looks like a flagship with a capsule cut-out on the front housing that looks like 2 cameras and a single depth sensor that is physically intimidating. Although a comparable setup flanks the back as well. There also appears to be a ToF sensor but as far as the renders are concerned, it is not clearly visible.

There was not much data exchanged apart from the renders. But a 6.76” FHD+ display with 1344p resolution, 90Hz display, a 4,400 mAh battery, IP68 rating, IR sensor, and more are the rumoured specs.
