iOS 14.2 Beta 4 For iPhone And iPad Released To Developers

iOS 14.2 beta 4 for developers has been released by Apple. The update is available over-the-air for users who have a previous beta enabled, and for registered users through the Apple Developer Center.

Just a week after beta 3 was released to developers, iOS 14.2 beta 4 was released and was released to all on the same day as the final version of iOS 14.1.

With a range of new features that are currently being reviewed, iOS 14.2 will launch. These include a new music recognition control for Shazam in iOS Control Center, 117 new emojis, updates to the user interface now playing, and AirPlay in Control Center, identification of people in Accessibility > Magnifier for poor eyesight users, Apple Card annual spending history, and many more.

The addition of beautiful new wallpapers is one of the big updates that we have noticed in iOS 14.2 beta 4. These include pictures of mountains and hilly areas and artistic scenery.

In the Home app, Apple has also introduced a brand new Discover feature. It includes information such as lights, surveillance cameras, alarms, doorbells, and more about different types of Home Kit accessories. In the App Store, it also lists its benefits, such as content pages and links to the Apple Store app for users to buy accessories.

Download iOS 14.2 Beta 4

You need to be enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, which costs $99/year, to install iOS 14.2 beta 4. You will be able to download a profile on your iPhone or iPad once you enroll in the program which allows it to receive beta updates. To download the new beta, simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update when the profile is installed.

Since this is a beta build, make sure your data has been backed up and mounted on a secondary computer. Betas function in advancement builds and can have bugs that can lead to data loss.
