Samsung uses the Galaxy Z Fold 2 features in the latest ad campaign to parody Apple's signature taglines

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the insanely high price tags stamped on its flagship smartphone offerings, Samsung didn't have a great 2020, leaving a dent in the financials of the company. While the Korean giant has many companies to hold it afloat, it needs to come up with a solid plan to once again boost its handset business. The business could also have a different strategy, and Samsung decided to take this opportunity to come up with a marketing plan after witnessing what Apple launched in the form of its iPhone 12, where the characteristics of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 are highlighted while mocking the signature taglines of its competitor. Take a look at what we're talking about and see it.

In the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 Ad Campaign, Samsung has changed Apple's 'Think Different' and One More Thing' taglines

Apple still has no foldable iPhone or iPad to its credit, which is why Samsung most likely thought it was the perfect chance to merge the features of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and use the flagship in its new ad campaign. For those who have been following Apple closely, you would know that when it wants to reveal a new product or service, the California-based tech company has used the tagline 'Think Different' when showcasing its products or 'One More Thing' during its presentations.

When selling the Galaxy Z Fold 2, it is not a bad attempt. Sam mobile notes that this ad was recently found in the immediate vicinity of one of the Netherlands' Apple stores. It's uncertain if this level of innovation will be taken to other regions by Samsung, but we'll let our readers know soon enough. It should also be noted that Samsung is actually leading the market for foldable smartphones, and that's just because at this time there are hardly any players invested in this segment.

The business does not stop here, however because it wants to branch out to offer various types of handsets to consumers, including one with a roll able form factor, according to a previous rumour. For now, Apple will continue to release traditional smartphones and we'll see it launch its foldable iPhone when the technology has matured, and that's when the real rivalry will start.
