Sides of the iPhone 12 Pro will easily get their paint chipped off
It hasn't been long since the iPhone 12 series became official, and the iPhone 12 Pro had many people's eyes on it. No need to say, with some amazing hardware and a lot of looks to serve, it is an impressive system. Finally, Apple returned to its origins and made the iPhone 12 series fully flat. That ensures that the sides are also flat apart from the screen and the back, to a point where you can actually make the phone stand without any problems.
The iPhone 12 Pro is made of stainless steel, which is undoubtedly something that is durable than aluminium, but the latest data is a little troubling, and we hope it's an isolated problem in the early batches because we have some bad news for you if that's not the case.
You can quickly scratch the paint off the sides of the iPhone 12 Pro
It's nothing new about paint chipping off today, this thing happens to almost all the phones available on the market. Stainless steel, however is meant to be costly and more robust, not just because you have to drop your phone from quite a scary height in order to have the paint chip, as I have done a few times with my Galaxy S20 Plus and so far it has only been chipped from one hand. The photos Ben Geskin shared tell a different storey, however. We're going to allow you a peek.
Now, obviously, this looks like a show model, but then again if the phones are in the Apple Store and they're already chipping their paint, it's probably a disturbing trend that a lot of people are going to have to bear in mind.
We have not received word from more users about this issue at the time of writing, but if this is valid, Apple will have to respond, in the first place, why it is happening.
