The creation of the new AirPods Max took Apple four years, reveals Former Engineer

Apple unveiled its latest ultra-hyped high-end over-ear headphones called the AirPods Max yesterday. Although the product does not feature an Apple logo, with pretty great technology on the inside, the design is very elegant. As nice as it might be, however the headphones have a whopping $549 price tag. Today, a former Apple Engineer has confirmed that for the past four years, the AirPods Max has been in the development process.

When the AirPods were first introduced, Apple first started working on the AirPods Max four years ago.

It took Apple four years, as stated earlier, to create the newly launched AirPods Max. However, back in 2018, we started hearing about Apple's high-end headphones. It was announced in a tweet by Apple's former engineer that the company began working on the AirPods Max four years ago.

However much earlier, on the basis of the tweets posted by the former Apple engineer, Dinesh Dave, Apple began creating its own-brand headphones. Ryan Jones, however, was also able to catch and re-share the tweets. Dave connected to Apple's AirPods Max announcement that said the last product NDA I signed is finally out!" Dave responded to a tweet as to when the NDA was signed, "~4 years."




The AirPods line-up was launched by Apple four years ago in December 2016. The popularity of headphones has increased, and Apple has taken notice of it. Potentially, the business may have agreed to vest in the audible category at this stage. It was rumoured that Apple's high-end headphones were facing production delays before the AirPods Max was launched. Previous reports have speculated that in late 2018, Apple would launch the headphones and then it was rumoured to be launched in the second half of 2019.

AirPods Max from Apple is now available for pre-order on its official website with a December 15 launch date. The delivery times have however, already changed to the following year. Nonetheless, however late it may be, we are pleased that Apple has finally revealed the AirPods Max. There are still high-end headphones to be reviewed and reviews are yet to hit the internet.
