The iPad Air 4 Review Roundup concludes that the new Apple tablet is the best for most people from both features and price point of view.

It didn't take long for the feedback to come out shortly after the unboxed video showing Apple's iPad Air 4. In short, the $599 tablet has plenty of features on which you'd have to spend more on the pricier 2020 iPad Pro to enjoy.

Thankfully, though having more in exchange, there is a more economical alternative that can be had. You will definitely have to get used to the fact that the iPad Air 4 does not have the same thin-bezel design as the new iPad Pro and it lacks Face ID, not to mention a primary LiDAR sensor, but there are other things that have been highlighted below that you can look forward to.

Six Colors describes the iPad Air 4 as being the tablet for people that don’t use an iPad Pro.
"I think it might be easier for people who are not iPad Pro users, who do not need to spend on top-of-the-line iPad Pro features, to think of the iPad Air as a commodity. Instead, between the bargain-priced iPad and the high-end ones, the iPad Air is intended to fill a happy middle ground. You don't need to purchase an iPad Pro anymore if you want to use the better Apple Pencil and the Magic Keyboard, and that's a good thing."
The Verge notes that it can last you for many hours if you intend to use the iPad Air 4 as a working machine. As for an entertainment tablet, it can last you for days without effort.
"The battery life is exactly what I want from an iPad, too. If you use it as a work machine, it is possible to drain the battery down, but it will certainly get you to dinner. If you use it more lightly, you should expect it to last two or three days before you need to think about it as an entertainment tablet."
Before the company launches the updated iPad Pro models rumored to arrive with 5G support and the strong A14X Bionic chipset, Engadget also reviewed the iPad Air 4, calling it Apple's best high-end tablet.
"I'm forced to rethink who the Air is about, with so little variations between the iPad Air and the Pro. The ideal just-right tablet was last year it offered more features than the simple entry-level edition, but it was still more achievable than the premium Pro line. For most individuals, it was the strongest tablet. I will upgrade Air to the best tablet for almost anyone this year, and I would even say it's the best high-end tablet from Apple."
