Tim Cook, Apple CEO, says 'More fun stuff' are coming this year maybe referring to new ARM-based Macs.
Apple is definitely not done by 2020 and if you figured it was the only thing left on the cards to deliver the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, the business sure has some surprises in store for you. CEO Tim Cook didn't want to share too much data during Apple's earnings call, but he did note that there are a few more exciting items in store. That can mean a variety of things and let's address what the executive meant by the aforementioned declaration with just two months left for 2020 to formally come to an end.
The rumoured Apple Silicon Mac event could take place in November, launching AirTags probable as well with AirPods Studio
Although Tim Cook did not share any details on what goods or services to expect later this year we have a hunch about what could happen later this year. Let us talk about Apple Silicon Macs first. Apple mentioned during the WWDC 2020 preview that the first computer sporting the ARM-based silicon from the company will arrive later this year but did not include information as to how many versions we could expect.
The company could have three unreleased Mac models in the works, one likely being a refresh to the 16-inch MacBook Pro, according to a macOS Big Sur beta leak, while two of them could sport the custom chipsets of the company. The 12-inch MacBook and the 13-inch MacBook Pro may be those two versions, each edition arriving with a different silicon and by default, a different price tag altogether, but at this stage nothing is verified.
The Apple Silicon Mac event will be held on November 17, so during the first week of the next month, the company will begin sending invites. Furthermore, while the AirPods Studio has been postponed, there is a possibility that this year Apple will make an announcement, so it can let consumers settle their minds on buying their new premium over-ear headphones. These are rumoured to come with impressive battery life, a custom chip that lets you effortlessly pair the headphones with your iPhone or iPad, active noise cancellation, and superior audio quality.
Next, we could see Apple's Tile-like AirTags, and from time to time, these would be perfect for customers who misplace their belongings erroneously. Because nothing is set in stone, however, we recommend waiting for official announcements from Apple for now and, as always, we will be here to provide the latest updates.
